I didn't disappear!

I'm still here! This weekend was just crazy busy! But, it was also fabulous! But, that's a story for another post!

I've finished all my drabble requests! And, even though I've been posting the drabbles underneath each comment, I've decided to post them all together as well.

For [info]lovesbitca,

Wes/Dawn

She backed away from him slowly, his stare affecting her like ice going down her throat, but melting when it reached her stomach. Wesley’s stare shifted, moving down her body and back up, his expression blank and shadowed. She felt rather than saw him close the gap between them and forced herself to meet his gaze.

“Dawn, it’s been a long time. My…how you’ve grown.”

He traced her jaw line with his finger and she felt herself leaning into his touch. She knew it was wrong, but as his finger brushed her lips, she slowly took it into her mouth.

For [info]flurblewig,

Spike/Darla

The hair on the back of his neck rose as he felt her eyes on him. Darla was always watching him it seemed, disappointment and judgment invading his space until he couldn’t feel anything else. He hated that it mattered to him what she thought. His dark beauty was pleased enough and that’s what was important. But, at night, when they twisted around each other, bodies fighting for dominance, Spike held her hands firmly in his. She bucked against him, but he tightened his grip. As she came violently, he roared triumphantly, relishing in the power to make her scream.

For [info]soundingsea,

Dawn & Ethan

Dawn skipped cheerfully to the costume shop. This Halloween, she would have the best costume ever. As she entered, she let her fingers glide across the different fabrics, sorting through ghost and goblins.

“Ah, a very special young lady like yourself deserves a spectacular costume on this special night.”

Dawn looked up at the thin man who appeared in front of her. She watched him pull a beautiful black cape off a hanger.

“Perhaps a vampiress? A powerful, captivating creature of the night?”

Dawn smiled as she watched the cape shimmer and swirl around her legs. This would be awesome.

For [info]cornerofmadness,

Ethan & Ripper

Two young men hurried up the library steps, their excited voices echoing in the school quad. They made their way through the maze of shelves and study rooms until they found the rare book section. The other three were already there, waiting. Collectively, they huddled together. They had everything they needed and now they had to agree upon a time to release Eyghon.

After the meeting, Rupert took Ethan aside, “You know, once we do this, we can’t go back.”

Ethan slapped him on the shoulder jovially, “That’s the point, mate. Live a little, Ripper. This is gonna be fun.”

For [info]aliasagent,

Darla/Dru

Darla awoke as a cold cloth was applied to her face. She opened her eyes and made out the blurred, naked image of Drusilla beside her. Dru ran the cloth down her neck and over her chest. Darla moaned, “That feels nice.”

Drusilla smiled slightly, “Don’t worry, Grandmum. We’ll wash away the hateful licks of fire from our skin. Daddy won’t hurt us again, will he? “

Darla reached for the cloth, rubbing it over Dru’s shoulder, “No, he won’t.”

Dru giggled as Darla glided the cloth over her stomach, “Besides, the tide is changing and he is turning. “

For [info]showmelonely,

Spike/Dawn

Spike came up from the basement to get blood when he heard voices in the living room. He stayed in the shadows, listening to Xander and Dawn. It was the pep talk of the century. Afterwards, he watched Dawn pull herself together and return to her studies. He stood there and observed her for hours it seemed. Of course, she was extraordinary. Why hadn’t he told her that before? She had so much strength, the biggest heart, and a sharp mind. He’d always thought so. Why did Xander get to be the big hero? Why was he always too late?

For [info]palmaceae,

Connor & Darla

Connor often wondered about the woman who appeared in his dreams. She was beautiful, an ethereal face with kind eyes. She would hold him against her chest and stroke his hair; her lips cool against his forehead. She spoke to him in hushed tones, words of love and praise. She had a silvery laugh and a sweet smile. He buried his head into her neck and inhaled deeply. But, she would leave. He would call out for her until he became hoarse, but she always left him. Then, he woke up, his throat raw and an emptiness in his heart.

For [info]britfacexx,

Spike/Dawn

Dawn traced the lines on Spike’s palm. “Your lifeline isn’t as short as I thought it would be.”

Spike snuggled up behind her, kissing her shoulder. “What do you mean?”

She rolled over to face him, “Well, you were only like, twenty-five years old when you died, right?”

He nodded absently, curling his fingers over hers.

Dawn sat up, “So, shouldn’t your lifeline be short?”

“It was an unnatural death, love.” He opened her hand, his tongue skimmed over the faint creases. “Well, I see passion in your future, pet. Quite soon,” he said, pulling her down for a kiss.

For [info]redwolfoz,

Spike/Dawn

Dawn watched as Spike kneeled down beside the bike, a frustrated wrinkle appearing between his eyes.

For their nightly outing, Spike had insisted on trying out his new TUONO 1000 R. Unfortunately, he had gotten it secondhand from an unreliable source. And, now, they were stranded.

“Hand me the screwdriver again.”

They both heard the snap. “Fuck!” Spike stood up, angrily pacing.

Dawn caught his arm, “Alright, we’re going to buy you a stress toy when we get home.”

He glared at her, but followed her willingly when she began to walk down the road to the nearest gas station.

THANKS, GUYS! That was fun!

Gosh -- you're an inspiration! You managed to do all of this AND put on what I'm sure was an amazing show (my lack of request came from the guilt of knowing how much was on your plate already, and besides, I always enjoy the way you surprise me with your pairings, so choosing would have defeated that).

I look forward to hearing about the show!

Aw, shucks! Thank you! *blushes*

Actually, that was really fun! I've been feeling so burnt out lately that I really enjoyed having guidelines to follow. It made everything a little simpler, you know?

I might have to do it again. And feel free to request anything, even if it's not a pairing. I would love to play with some of you plot ideas!

I'll post about the show later today!

These are all lovely. Great job! :-)

Yes, I was busy, but I love to do drabbles. They seem to come so much easier to me than full-length fics! And you're right, it was really fun!

Thank you!

And, by the way, I haven't posted yet, but I am LOVING your Wes/Dawn!

Gah! Such a kink of mine, Darla holding the power in the relationship but something about Spike makes him just as powerful.
I really liked the Connor&Darla one too. I've often thought about her haunting his dreams.
And this made me sniffle, poor Spike:
Why did Xander get to be the big hero? Why was he always too late?
Thanks for pointing me here ;)
